Puthiya Niyamam  is a 2016 Indian Malayalam thriller film written and directed by A. K. Sajan. The film stars Mammootty and Nayantara in the lead roles, along with Baby Ananya, Sheelu Abraham, Aju Varghese, Rachana Narayanankutty and S. N. Swamy in supporting roles. The film was released on 12 February 2016 to positive reviews.

Louis Pothen  is an all rounder. He is divorce lawyer, he participates in live TV channel debates on various topics, and he is a film critic, too. His wife Vasuki Iyer  is a Kathakali artist, and together with his school-going daughter, they live in a city highrise. The story further focuses on an incident that sort of transformed the lively Vasuki into an introvert. What follows is a dramatic exploration of Vasuki's recent past and how she gets over 

The costumes that Mammootty's character Louis Pothen has to don in film were purchased from Dubai by Mammootty himself. Roby Varghese Raj who was an assistant of cinematographers Rajeev Menon and Jomon T. John debuted as an independent cinematographer in the film. The editing of Puthiya Niyamam was done at the residence of editor Vivek Harshan in Chennai. Harshan, the National Award winning film editor, was in commitment for six films simultaneously and edited Puthiya Niyamam due to the insistence of A. K Sajan.[11] The post-production works including Mammootty's dubbing were completed in December. However, Nayanthara was unimpressed with the dubbing of her character and expressed her desire to dub for herself. As it would be her debut dubbing in Malayalam language, a dubbing trial was conducted in Chennai in mid-January 2016.

Puthiya Niyamam consists of two songs composed by Vinu Thomas.

 Pavada Full Movie History-2016:

Upcoming Malayalam movie directed by G Maarthandan. Pavada, is a 2016 Malayalam film directed by G. Marthandan and written by Bipin Chandran, based on the story he co-wrote with Shibin Francis. It stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, Anoop Menon, Asha Sarath, Miya George, Nedumudi Venu and Maniyan Pilla Raju. The film was produced by Maniyan Pilla Raju for Maniyan Pilla Raju Productions. The music was composed by Aby Tom Cyriac and released under the label Muzik247. Pavada released on 15 January 2016 to positive reviews.

An alcoholic duo, met at a de-addiction center helps each other to arrange their lives back together with their persistent illness. Pambu Joy's married life is in a muddle due to his alcoholism. Pavada Babu's life is in pieces due to a film he produced, in which Sicily was the heroine. For financial gain the film was adulterated by Eldho. Eldho intends to re-release the film in color. Both Pambu Joy and Pavada Babu fights for stopping the re-release of the film due to the added pain that will cause for Pavada Babu and to bring back Simi together with Pambu Joy.

Earlier, Shobana was approached for the role of Sicily, but the actress turned down the role as she was not willing to do mother role of Prithviraj, she was replaced by Asha Sarath. Actor Jayasurya has sung a song for the film, titled "Kuruthakkedinte Koodanu," composed by Aby Tom Cyriac, which describes the character of Joy . According to Maniyanpilla Raju, the film will have "a lot of twists"

The filming began in Thodupuzha on 24 August 2015. The first look poster was released on 2 October 2015.

The film grossed approximately  crore  in the opening day from Kerala box office. The movie was declared as the first 2016 blockbuster at the box office.

The film's songs are composed by Aby Tom Cyriac with lyrics written by B. K. Hari Narayanan. There are three songs and one is a promo song sung by Nedumudi Venu. Jayasurya, K. G. Ranjith and Nedumudi Venu are the singers. The music was released through the label Muzik 247. The audio music launch was held in a low profile event at Kochi in December 2015, the money generated from which went to Chennai flood victims' relief funds Aby Tom Cyriac has sampled music from Indian ethnic genre of the early 80s and late 90s.

 Action Hero Biju Full Movie History-2016:

Action Hero Biju is a 2016 Indian Malayalam-language action crime film directed by Abrid Shine and starring Nivin Pauly in the title role. This is Shine's second venture as a director after his debut 1983  The movie also marks Nivin Pauly's debut as a producer. Jerry Amaldev composed the original songs, while Rajesh Murugesan did the background score. The filming which began in May 2015 was wrapped in October. After being postponed several times, Action Hero Biju was released on February 4, 2016.

Sub Inspector Biju Paulose  is a dedicated police officer who is committed to solve every case in his jurisdiction using various tactics. The movie is a journey through a number of cases SI Biju has to go through, and thus, it chronicles the routine life of a committed police officer.

After the success of his debut venture, director Abrid Shine began pre-production on his second film. He wanted the subject to be action oriented and discussions with Nivin turned it to a police story. In August 2014, Abrid subsequently made an official announcement that his next venture would be titled Action Hero Biju and would feature Nivin in the lead role. The movie started rolling in May 2015.

Nivin Pauly took special fighting classes and followed special diets to gain more weight and followed workout regimens, to fit the role of a police officer

Aswin Bharadwaj of Lensmen Reviews gives the movie a rating of and he says "On the whole, Action Hero Biju is humorous, real, emotional and atypical. It has multiple messages for us, but there is no conventional preaching.
