The film is set in a village in 90’s and discusses the entry of globalization to this village in a satirical manner with unique kind of romantic flavor. The plot revolves around a C-Class talkies in the village and a 10 day festival happens in the village. The identity of the character played by Kunchacko boban will trigger the movement of the story forward.
Valliyum Thetti Pulliyum Thetti is directed by debutant Rishi Sivakumar stars Kunchacko Boban and Shamili in the lead.The film also features Renji Panicker,Manoj K.Jayan,Saiju Kurup and Aju Varghese.The film is produced by Faizal latheef under the production banner Achappu Movie Magic and this will be his second production venture after Daivathinte Swantham Cleetus.The music of the film is composed by Soorej S Kuruppu and cinematography by Kunjunni S Kumar.

After Malayalam actor Aju Varghese, on Thursday 3 September, asked all his fans to guess the lead actress of the upcoming film "Valliyum Thetti Pulliyum Thetti" , actor Kunchacko Boban unmasked the heroine on Friday.
It is none other than Shamili aka Malootty, who is making her comeback to films with "VTPT". The actress has been cast as lead, opposite Kunchacko Boban.
